Pocket Surfer 2 Photos and Video
This is a demo of the Pocket Surfer at the CES trade show. The video shows the zoom feature and a Google web search.
The Pocket Surfer 2 is 7.5cm wide and 15.2cm long. It's small and sleek enough to fit in a suit pocket or a handbag.
The device is 1.5cm thick. It'll take up next to no room while you are travelling. It weighs only 178 grammes.
The Pocket Surfer keyboard is operated by your thumbs. The buttons are large and ergonomically positioned to allow easy access and quick typing for even the largest of hands. The buttons are also back lit and have a satisfying click when pressed.
Regular websites can be viewed on the Pocket Surfer 2, anywhere where you can get a mobile signal. Ebay pages will tend to load in 5-7 seconds. You'll never be outbid again!
You can use your regular search engine to find what you're looking for on the Pocket Surfer. You can just log on, go to www.google.co.uk and search away. All the pages you find will load and be browsable with the Pocket Surfer.
As you can see in this video, the Pocket Surfer has no trouble accessing the BBC news home pages. Amazing when you consider this is all over a GPRS signal with no data charges!
